School of Nursing

Penn Nursing is leading innovation in health and health care—from research and education to policy and practice—across the city, nation and world.

Among health disciplines, nursing has the best track record of translating research into practice. This is especially evident at Penn Nursing, where we pioneer health care solutions that directly benefit patients. Our global footprint means we bring advances to those most in need—wherever they may be—and empower others to scale our methods.

This Campaign will help us to build a profession as diverse as our world, instilling the genius of Penn Nursing in a new generation of change agents and thought leaders who will reshape the front lines of health care.

CAMPAIGN GOAL: $60,000,000

Campaign Priorities

  • Ensure access to a Penn Nursing education for the best and the brightest graduate students—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—through scholarships and non-tuition support that maximize their opportunities for success.
  • Expand Penn Nursing’s innovative research, which translates quickly into education and practice, with funding to respond quickly and creatively to new science, endow faculty chairs in emerging areas and invest in advanced technology and analytics.
  • Partner with both local and global communities to train future clinicians, which will prepare them to advance health equity by providing care that is grounded in social structure.
