Penn Arts and Sciences is driven by the power of perspectives from the humanities, social and natural sciences,
energized through collaborations within and beyond traditional disciplines, and engaged in issues locally and globally. Our 21st-century approach to the liberal arts develops the skills and practices that shape not only our students’ careers, but their communities and their lives.

The Power of Penn Campaign will allow us to enhance our foundations and transcend new frontiers of knowledge. We will sustain and strengthen our faculty, empower our students to reach their full potentials and foster an inclusive community of faculty and students. And we will pursue innovative interdisciplinary initiatives to solve pressing problems and leave a legacy of impact.

CAMPAIGN GOAL: $550,000,000

Campaign Priorities

  • Advance faculty distinction by enhancing our resources to recruit and retain the very best, through prestigious
endowed chairs and other forms of support.
  • Realize student potential through endowed scholarships and funding for internships, curricular innovation, student diversity and research opportunities.
  • Drive cutting-edge research addressing real world challenges—creating a sustainable planet, harnessing the power of the brain, exploring the human experience and driving global change—through investment in centers, programs and facilities.
